I'm a fan of.... Sweet Paul... decorating cookies.... eating sweets. So when this all comes together I get very exited. Love the flip flops and the orange popsicle. Show your pictures

Kids love to look at pictures. And with our digital cameras these days we don't often make prints anymore. But done this way like seen on the Dosfamily blog I think it's really cute. Specially since there are also copies of old pictures used. And clever find, they're laminated and taped to tiles so you don't have to drill holes for a frame.

How cute is this birthday cake!

First of all I have to give my compliments to the mom baking this cake for her daughters birthday. I totally love the look of the rainbow cake and think the baking must take a lot of patience. But than.... will you look at this frosting layer. What an amazing idea to have your kid decorate their own birthday cake. I totally, absolutely, enormously LOVE IT! New discovery. I love Instragram as you get to peak into other peoples life and inspiration. That's also how I learned about Corby Tindersticks. Love their shirts with great detailed illustrations and applications of buttons and emboidery. And their felt little posters. Unfortunately this grey one is sold out otherwise it would be on our walls I can asure you! And the quircky dolls are also Corby Tindersticks designs. And the good news is that Rotterdam based webshop Shak-Shuka (my IG source) will stock some of their collection in the near future. 

Sometimes you just don't want to wait

Sometimes you come across a new collection online and you just can't fait for it to hit the stores. I get that feeling with this new SIRKUS collection by Norwegian brand Blafre. In a collaboration with Cecilie Ellefsen their products got some really nice new prints. It will even be hard to make a choice. Probably the rond travelling circus container, the small strong man box and I also very much like the bear print. Like I said.... too many nice things! See more images on Rafens.

Every girls dream

It must be a little girls dream to own so many pattycoat skirts. I also think her bedroom is styled adorable. What I really like is the wooden screen. Think about all the 'junk' you can hind behind a nice wall like that. The wallpaper is by Ferm LIVING, the poster by Little Studio. The image comes from Family Living in Sweden.

Whihoee, it's time for a kids collection

Keep your eyes open for the coming Autumn season of H&M as they're starting a kids range in their HOME collection. And how great are these log items (storage bin and pillow) and the bear and fox products.  The little baskets on the floor in the first picture, the bedding and that orange towel are going home with me! Making a kids lunch FUN!

Is your kid a bit of a troubled eater? Make his food fun and he or she'll be more likely to go for it. Like with these bento boxes. It does mean a bit of effort from your side but aren't these boxes like little food gifts. These come from the website Another Lunch with many great examples. I'm also a bit of a fan of the bento boxes by Dutch Larienet. You can find some of their examples on facebook. My favourite from their collection is this one.

It's the muppets!

I've seen the whales wallpaper on several blogs before and really like it. Now that I've found the original site I see they have more great wallpaper designs. If you're looking for something you don't see every day make sure you visit the Pottok website.

Keep all your cardboard boxes!

Don't throw out your cardboard boxes after buying something. There are little ones that with a little help from mom or dad can play with them for hours and hours. How cute are these to examples of a car at a gas station and this cute little kitchen complete with little stove and fridge. These images are found on Pinterest and there are many more suggestions of cute things you can do with cardboard. But originally they come from the blog Declutterorganizerepurpose.

Wooden perfection

These wooden toys will not only appeal to kids but I'm sure also to grown ups. Such detail and perfection and what cute little creatures! The site of Take-G Toys is in Japanese. Painted blocks

Of course, a young child can play hours and hours with the natural wood colour blocks. But what an addition are these little faces and other painted decorations as spotted on the Lisen Adbåge blog.
